October Sky
On a brisk October morning around fifty degrees, ducks and geese are flying into the fields and potholes to feed for the morning. Hunters are waiting for the ducks to fly in with speed and stealth but not on this pothole. The hunters have guns, camouflaged clothes, and decoys. The ducks see other ducks flying in and landing in the water. They circle the water three times then decided to land. As they came done the hunters whispered “these four are ours”.
The ducks were within twenty feet of the water when they realized something was wrong they turned left to leave but by then it was too late. BOOM the guns were blazing two ducks fell one of the hunters exclaimed “Double”.
Two ducks survived the onslaught the ducks quacked “That was to close what happened where are Bill and Jack”.
“Their gone forever” exclaimed Tim.
“Well if we can’t land in the water where are we supposed to land” Asked Tim?
“We can land in a field and get some barley to eat” panted Kenny.
The ducks went straight to the field and did not stop till they made it to there. Tim saw a flash and tried to talk Kenny out of landing in the middle of the field but Kenny would not listen. Kenny quacked “There are other ducks over there we will be OK”.
Tim and Kenny went there different ways. Kenny went down the middle and Tim went to the right thinking it would be safer. He was right but he wished he had not been after what happened to Kenny. BOOM Bang Kenny dropped and hit the ground hard. A yellow dog ran out and bit Kenny and carried him off into the high grass. Tim now knows where to stay away from to not end up like Kenny and the others. Tim flew around till he found a big lake. He landed in the middle and nothing happened he now knows to stay away for the high grass and stay away from other ducks. Tim stayed alive for two weeks but he was going to land in the middle and there were cattails over there he thought it would be safe but this time was his last mistake. Bang Tim hit the water a brown dog ran out trying to pick him up. He was jumping trying to fly but it was no use he had a broken wing. He finally got bite and was brought to the cattails like all of his friends it was over. The dog dropped the duck in front of a young boy around the age of twelve. “Nice shot son” exclaimed a man.
"Thanks dad" whispered the young boy.

The hunt

October 2ND 5:00 o'clock wake up and eat breakfast. 5:30 get the dogs and get them in to the truck. 5:45 drive to the pothole or the Fields. 6:15 set up the seat buckets and the decoys. 7:10 wait till 7:42. 7:42 load up and let the steel fly. Its the duck commander way of life. Its the way duck hunters live during the hunt. you leave around 11:00 o'clock got to the hotel or were you stay at and eat lunch. Around 4:00 o'clock you go out to the hunting spot for a evening hunt when the ducks are going back to there beding spots. After that its time to go to bed and do it again. The life of a duck commander.

First off i would like to say I am sorry for not posting over the weekend. I had to go to my grandma's house so I could not get on the Internet till now. I had a great four day weekend on Friday I went to work with my dad. I had to paint and do stuff like that but in the afternoon I had baseball practice. Saturday was my favorite day I had a baseball game I had a 2RBI single. But sadly we lost 6 to 8. Then I had to take a shower and go right to my Nonie's house. Once I got there I rode there four wheeler or A.T.V it was so fast. I stayed the night and the next day I went swimming. If I had to rate my weekend it would be a ten.

My weekend plans

I have a 4 day weekend this week its going to be awsome I am go to be posting on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. See you soon.

The best thing that happened to me happened Wednesday the 12th. I got my Dad's New Benelli Vinci. For people who don't know about shotguns the Vinci is the lightest recoiling fastest recovering shot shotgun in the legel shotgun world. there are guns faster but those guns are illegal or you have to be in the U.S.A's army to use them cause there so fast. Like the AA12 the gun shoot 300 round per minute and it can shoot grenade laucher bullets. That is insane but it is illegal so my Vinci is perfect. I can't wait to go test the gun out

My favorite book is Scorpia by Anthony Horowitz. The book is about a team of evil assassins and spy's. The assassins work on a project that will turn the two closest countries aganist each other England and The U.S.A. Alex Rider must stop the project before it starts but maybe he doesn't want to stop it. Read the book to findout.

Labradors are my favorite breed of dog they are very good with little kids and autistic kids like my little brother. They can handle a lot of stuff and they are very loyal. Take my little brother for example. He will walk up to my dog when she is lying down. Then grab her by her snout and he will hug her real tight and she hasn’t bitten him once. I don’t think any other breed of dog could take that much.
There are three major colors of Labradors. There is yellow, brown, and black. There are some red colored labs but they say there are called a shade of yellow. Black labs can give birth to all colors of labs. Browns can give birth to yellows and browns. Yellow can only give birth to yellows or the red shaded yellows.
Labradors can be very intelligent. Normally if you were to point at something the dog might not look the way you are pointing. But 85 to 95 % of the time the Labradors will look the way you pointed. That shows intelligence for a dog.
Labradors make very good hunting dogs too. If you go any kind of bird hunting you’ll want a Labrador. Labs have strong legs that can run right through thick mud. Once when I went hunting I walked a foot in that mud. I pulled my legs up but they wouldn’t come free and my dog was just walking circles around me. Labs also have strong Jaws and the can carry a nice sized duck in there mouth for three minutes. That is about two to three pounds with your mouth open 70% or more and some dogs can carry two ducks.
There are many reasons people love Labrador Retrievers those were just a few. They bring so much joy in to peoples live. That’s why I like Labradors are the best breed of dog in my opinion.
